RESERVATION PORTAL
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 6, 2026
1. Reservation requests
Submitting this form creates a ride request. A ride is not confirmed until the selected driver accepts it and you receive a confirmation by email, text message, or through the reservation status page.
2. Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate pickup, destination, arrival time, passenger, luggage, and contact information. Incorrect or incomplete information may delay or prevent service.
3. Fare estimates and payment
Displayed fares are estimates based on the route, expected travel time, and selected vehicle. Changes to the route, stops, waiting time, tolls, parking, special requests, or unusual traffic may change the final amount. The driver will confirm the accepted payment method before service.
4. Pickup planning
The suggested pickup time includes an estimated route and a safety allowance. It is a planning recommendation, not a guarantee of arrival time. Traffic, weather, road closures, and other conditions may affect the trip.
5. Passengers, luggage, and accessibility
You must select a vehicle that safely accommodates every passenger and item. Children must use legally required car seats supplied by the customer unless otherwise confirmed. Wheelchairs, mobility devices, oversized luggage, pets, or other special items must be disclosed before confirmation.
6. Cancellations and changes
Contact the driver or reservation support as soon as possible if plans change. Late cancellations, no-shows, or substantial last-minute changes may result in a cancellation charge when disclosed and accepted during confirmation.
7. Driver availability and service area
Driver selection is subject to schedule, vehicle capacity, required credentials, and service area. Cross-border trips are not offered through this portal. A different driver may be proposed when the selected driver is unavailable.
8. Safety and conduct
Passengers and drivers must follow applicable laws and behave respectfully. Service may be refused or ended when conditions are unsafe, unlawful, abusive, or materially different from the submitted request.
9. Platform relationship
This portal helps customers request rides from participating Fare Co-op drivers in San Diego. San Diego Drivers United is an independent driver-support, education, and advocacy organization and does not own or operate Fare Co-op.
10. Contact
Questions about a reservation or these terms may be sent to sandiegodriversunited@gmail.com.
